Peterson Airmen support Florida community members

TAMPA, Fla. — U.S. Air Force Captain Stephanie McIlwraith promised herself she would never return to Florida after her mother’s funeral in August of 2020. Earlier that year, just as the nation began to implement COVID-19 restrictions, McIlwraith’s mother was diagnosed with cancer.

64th AEG provides vaccination support to FEMA in Michigan

TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. — At the request of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, approximately 220 Department of Defense military medical and support personnel will deploy to Michigan to support a state-run, federally supported community vaccination center.

99th Medical Group deploys in response to COVID-19

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. — Members of the 99th Medical Group were deployed to California at the request of the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the state of California in response to a surge of COVID-19 patients, Jan. 7 to Feb. 13, 2021.
