Military hospital support to FEMA begins in New Hampshire, New York, continues in eight states

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — At the request of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, approximately 35 military medical personnel will deploy in two new teams – one 15-person team to New Hampshire, and one 20-person team to New York – to support civilian healthcare workers treating COVID-19 patients.

ARNORTH military hospital support to FEMA begins in Washington, continues in five states

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — At the request of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, approximately 40 military medical personnel deployed to Washington in two cities to support civilian healthcare workers treating COVID-19 patients in two local hospitals.

Operation Allies Welcome Completes Vaccination Campaign for Measles and Varicella for Afghan Evacuees

WASHINGTON — Operation Allies Welcome (OAW) has completed a historic and nationwide vaccination campaign for measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), and varicella (chickenpox) to Afghan evacuees who are temporarily staying at eight military installations in the United States.

MAFFS crews wrap up second-busiest fire season in 49-year history

TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. — The USDA Forest Service released the final four U.S Air Force C-130 Modular Aircraft Firefighting System-equipped C-130 aircraft Sept. 29, marking the end of a 96-day support effort.

Female engagement team continues to evaluate female evacuees needs at Fort Bliss’ Doña Ana Complex

FORT BLISS, N.M. — Afghan evacuee women at Fort Bliss’ Doña Ana Complex in New Mexico meet weekly with female leaders to address their concerns and ease their transition into American life.

ARNORTH concludes military wildland fire ground response operation in California
