Army 2nd Lt. Kat Wilson and 1st Lt. DeWayne Cox, 261st Multi-Functional Medical Battalion, Fort Brag, N.C., participate in a Joint Operations Center Training Course at Fort Eustis, Dec., 11-13, 2018. The three-day course educated and prepared the Defense CBRN Response Force (DCRF) members of JTF-CS for a catastrophic Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) event. When directed, JTF-CS is ready to respond in 24 hours to provide command and control of 5,200 federal military forces located at more than 30 locations throughout the nation in support of civil authority response operations to save lives, prevent further injury and provide critical support to enable community recovery.
