FORT HUACHUCA, Ariz. — On the evening of Jan. 20, 2025, President Donald J. Trump signed a series of Executive Orders related to the Southern border. Among the series of Executive Orders was a national emergency declaration, which directed the Department of Defense, through U.S. Northern Command, to mobilize various organizations to support the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) mission to secure and obtain operational control of the southern border.

FORT HUACHUCA, Ariz. — Soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division begin their latest deployment with a colors uncasing ceremony held at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, February 18, 2025.

U.S. Soldiers support maritime security

SAN DIEGO — U.S. Army Soldiers, assigned to 716th Military Police Battalion, Task Force Griffin, are supporting the southern border mission through protection the bordering waterways. Nine Solders are working directly with the Coast Guard in the Joint Harbor Operations Center (JHOC).
