JTF-SB Marines and Sailors conduct joint casualty evacuation training with JTF-SB Soldiers

U.S. Marines and Sailors with Combat Logistics Battalion 15, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB), conduct casualty evacuation training with a U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk with 2nd General Support Aviation Battalion, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, also with JTF-SB, in Yuma, Ariz., Aug. 16, 2025. The Marines and Sailors rehearsed rendering aid to simulated casualties and securing them in stretchers, while simultaneously working with the Soldiers to hoist a dummy patient into the UH-60 Black Hawk. JTF-SB executes full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
