U.S. Soldiers from 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB), test their AN/PRC-163 radio systems during a convoy at Dona Ana Training Complex, N.M., Aug. 28, 2025. The AN/PRC-163 is part of the Army’s next generation of command and control systems that will improve situational awareness and decision making. JTF-SB executes full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
