The command team of 2nd Marine Logistics Group visits the command team of Combat Logistics Battalion 7, 1st Marine Logistics Group, and the Marines of 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd MLG, all assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border, in Naco, Ariz., May 25, 2026. The 2nd MLG command team visited the region to meet with Marines and recognize their efforts in support of the southern border operations. U.S. Northern Command is working side-by-side with the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection within narrowly defined authorities to provide unique military capabilities to protect the territorial integrity of the U.S. southern border.
