JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska - Members of a U.S. East Coast-based Naval Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) team and the U.S. Coast Guard Maritime Security Response Team (MSRT) West conduct a visit, board, search, and seizure (VBSS) training aboard the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Ship (NOAA) Fairweather (S 220) during ARCTIC EDGE 25 (AE25) in the Bering Sea, Aug. 10, 2025. AE25 is a NORAD and U.S. Northern Command-led homeland defense exercise designed to improve readiness, demonstrate capabilities, and enhance Joint and Allied Force interoperability in the Arctic.
