N/A - A U.S. Marine with the Chemical Biological Incident Response Force explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) team inspects the contents of a mine shape during foreign material exploitation operations in exercise ARCTIC EDGE 2025 (AE25) at Anchorage, Alaska, Aug. 14, 2025. Foreign material exploitation is the process by which EOD technicians collect, analyze, and document information from recovered explosive devices, components, or materials to support intelligence, threat assessment, and future operations.
