SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES - The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111) transits San Diego Bay for a scheduled employment to the U.S. Northern Command area of responsibility Mar. 22, 2025. U.S. Northern Command is working together with the Department of Homeland Security to augment U.S. Customs and Border Protection along the southern border with additional military forces.
