Last week, U.S. Northern Command and U.S. Space Command teamed up with The Joint Staff to train gender focal points (GFPs) from both commands on how to implement Women, Peace and Security across missions such as security cooperation, defense support of civil authorities, and military exercises. These GFPs will be able to use skills and knowledge from the course to gain critical insight into the operational environment by integrating a gender perspective.
