O'Shaughnessy, commander of the North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command provides a COVID-19 response briefing to the Secretary of the Air Force, Barbara M. Barrett and Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Gen. David L. Goldfein, during their visit to the commands' headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Apr 18. They discussed homeland defense operations amidst the ongoing war on COVID-19. Gen. O'Shaughnessy highlighted NORAD and USNORTHCOM’s continued focus on defending the homelands and protecting its people while contributing more than 15,000 DoD personnel to the whole-of-America COVID-19 response.
