Coast picks up immigrants during NORTHCOM visit
A Coast Guardsman watches over the 26 Cuban immigrants his crew just unloaded from a 44-foot Special Purpose Craft-Law Enforcement boat Feb. 3, 2014, at U.S. Coast Guard Sector Key West. The crew of the 44-foot boat, along with the 33-foot boat that also picked up the immigrants docked just as North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command Senior Enlisted Leader, Robert Winzenried, Chief Master Sgt. Joseph Sluder, Joint Task Force-North Command Chief, and Chief Master Sgt. Ron Anderson, Air Forces North Command Chief, were touring the facility. Prior to the tour, the senior enlisted leaders spoke to leadership about the command's mission and the support they receive from their respective agencies. Photo by Air Force Master Sgt.
