The "Cudslingers" – a wild cow milking team made up of personnel assigned to U.S. Northern Command and North American Aerospace Defense Command – won second place in a preliminary round at the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo in Colorado Springs, Colo., July 12, 2007. The team returned to the rodeo July 15 to compete for overall honors in the finals, but was out-milked by a team from Fort Carson, Colo. The rodeo is a charitable organization dedicated to funding programs and services that benefit local military personnel and their families.
