PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. – U.S. Northern Command, in conjunction with Joint Interagency Task Force-401, will conduct Falcon Peak 26.2 (FP26.2) Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) experiment and demonstration from Aug. 31-Sept. 25, 2026. This is the fourth Falcon Peak experiment, and the first at Yuma Proving Ground in Yuma, Arizona. This experiment is designed to address the unique challenges of C-sUAS at the Southern Border and will demonstrate new technologies, expand focus on low-collateral defeat capabilities, enhance collaboration with mission partners, and provide industry with immediate feedback to accelerate the maturation of innovation capabilities with Department of War-wide applicability.
