Secretary of Defense visits NORAD, NORTHCOM

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. — The Secretary of Defense visited the North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command here May 7, 2020. 

U.S. Air Force Gen. Lori J. Robinson receives the U.S. Northern Command guidon from the U.S. Secretary of Defense, Ashton B. Carter signifying her acceptance of command, May 13, 2016, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. Gen. Robinson is the seventh commander of USNORTHCOM since its inception on Oct 1, 2002.

Gen. Robinson assumes command of NORAD, USNORTHCOM

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. — AirForce Gen. Lori Robinson assumed command of the North American AerospaceDefense Command and U.S. Northern Command from Navy Adm.
