Mexican Defense Leaders Visit NORAD and USNORTHCOM Headquarters to Strengthen Bilateral Security Cooperation

Gen. Gregory M. Guillot, Commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), hosted Gen. Ricardo Trevilla Trejo, Secretary of National Defense of Mexico, and Adm. Raymundo Pedro Morales Ángeles, Secretary of the Navy of Mexico, for an official visit to the commands’ headquarters, June 23-25.

NORTHCOM Commander VanHerck Delivers Radar System to RBDF

On October 28, General Glen D. VanHerck, the Commander of U.S. Northern Command (NORTHCOM), officially delivered a $2.4 million-dollar radar system to the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) and the Government of The Bahamas, during an official handover ceremony at the Coral Harbour base on New Providence.

Mexican Military Service College students visit U.S. Northern Command

Members of Mexico's military Service College recently visited U.S. Northern Command at Peterson AFB, Colorado and received briefings on USNORTHCOM's missions, to include: homeland defense, security cooperation, and defense support of civil authorities. U.S.-Mexico military engagements such as these are intended to enhance our ability to work together to achieve the defense objectives of both the United States and Mexico. USNORTHCOM is committed to strong and enduring partnerships and routinely participates in security cooperation with Mexico to advance North American defense and security interests.
