Canada’s 409 Squadron Conducts Flyover at The Pikes Peak Rodeo

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Two Canadian Forces CF-18 Hornets will conduct a flyover at The Pikes Peak Rodeo Saturday night at approximately 7:15 p.m. The CF-18s, Canada’s version of the United States military’s F/A-18 Hornet, are fighter jets from the Canadian Forces’ 409 Tactical Fighter Squadron, based at 4 Wing Cold Lake, Alberta.

The two aircraft will initiate their single-pass flyover approaching from the West and fly directly over the Norris-Penrose Event Center at 1045 W. Rio Grande St. in Colorado Springs.
