CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT HAROLD L. HUTCHISON, USAF

Command Senior Enlisted Leader, North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command

Chief Master Sergeant Harold L. Hutchison is the Command Senior Enlisted Leader for Headquarters, North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado.

He is the principal advisor to the Commander on all enlisted matters. His responsibilities include providing the Commander with the enlisted perspective on strategic vision, goals, objectives, theater security cooperation, and enlisted professional development. Additionally, he is responsible for mentoring Senior Enlisted Leaders throughout the Component Commands and JTFs as well as coordinating with Headquarters Staff Agencies, Commanders, and Senior Enlisted Personnel on matters pertaining to the command’s mission, vision, core values, commander’s intent, enlisted utilization and implementation of command policy.

Chief Hutchison grew up in Erie, Pa., where he graduated from Tech Memorial High School in 1985 and entered the United States Air Force in December of the same year. His background includes various duties in security forces at wing, major command and joint command levels. Chief Hutchison also served as an operations group superintendent before becoming a command chief master sergeant at the wing, air expeditionary wing, numbered air force and MAJCOM levels. He has deployed numerous times supporting various missions throughout the Middle East. Chief Hutchison was the Command Chief Master Sergeant for Pacific Air Forces, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, before assuming his current position.
