Military and interagency personnel held a virtual table top exercise May 13, 2020, to discuss how U.S. Northern Command would perform its Defense Support to Civil Authorities mission in a COVID-19 environment. The topic of the exercise was a simulated DOD response to a hurricane or wildfire during the ongoing COVID-19 threat. To practice social distancing, participants from U.S. Northern Command, their components, other Department of Defense entities, and interagency mission partners met via telephone and video teleconference.
