If you have orders to NORAD and/or USNORTHCOM, welcome to the team! We anxiously await your arrival. You will be assigned a sponsor from the command very soon who will help guide your relocation. The websites listed below may help to answer some of your initial questions.

First, please review the NORAD and USNORTHCOM websites. These sites were written to explain our binational and joint commands.

Next, you are probably interested in learning something about the city of Colorado Springs and the local attractions.

Our commands are located on Peterson Air Force Base. The Base Guide describes some of the services available on our base to include information on the Joint Personal Property Shipping Office (the office in charge of moving your household items). The Peterson Visitors Center is located at the West Gate on Stewart Ave. The Visitors Center is a great place to meet your sponsor.

To assist with your move, you may want to visit the Peterson AFB Housing Office and the Automated Housing Referral Network.

For more information on your new assignment as well as a more in-depth look at NORAD and USNORTHCOM, Peterson AFB and the Colorado Springs area, download and read the NORAD and USNORTHCOM Headquarters Sight Picture.

For a one-stop location for information about MWR and other activities happening on Peterson Air Force Base and in the local area, log into the 21st Force Support Squadron’s web site.
